How Rude Can They Be?
(For those who have never run a web site with email link.)

Our software is available for people to "try before they buy". There are numerous reasons for this. First and foremost is to isolate individual system problems that can't be resolved before someone orders. We have many customers who are not particularly PC savvy, and always try to help get their system in order...if they are nice. This was returned to the demo download email address.

You never know if the email is from a young twit or some ol' impatient geezer not used to getting a real response from someone in authority. Who ever they are, they needed an attitude adjustment; so I wrote:

To the guy with the bad attitude;

Wow! That's a first. Since it is the most emulated shooting software and
successfully sells at twice or three times every other shooting title, I am glad
you have the minority opinion.

Did you bother clicking any of the buttons or read the documentation? If you had
a problem understanding something I would normally have entertained answering
questions, but not much enthusiasm here after that response.

If you are looking for something cheap and simple that you can figure out in 15
seconds, Shooting Lab is not for you.

The next response from him was expected and why more and more commercial web sites do not have email links or if they do, don't bother responding. You can tell allot about someone's maturity in their email, eh?

Your software carshed my system twice thank you very much and since you have that opinion of me personally I will make sure to post the crah and error message on all of the firearm forums that I`m a member of and I will gladly let all of the people at the numorous matches I attend every month that you were glad that I`m in the "minotiry" on this subject. Oh, if you want attitude I`ll give it to you in two words, get fucked. Have a nice day dickhead.

Chances are all this "expletive deleted" needs to do is add some ram or update his video card drivers. No point in trying to help because there is no way we want him as a customer. There's an old sailor saying, "Anyone who has not run aground ain 't sailed to far". Anyone who has never had a PC crash has not been computing long. Especially these days with Vista forcing massive changes to system drivers, Bios settings, etc. Simple none descriptive email like "Software don't work" is bad enough, derogatory comments only serve to eliminate any desire to help.
